Very nice quilt. The colors are great. Your donation is going to bring comfort to someone.

Looks so much better after the fix. It is beautiful and how thoughtful of you to donate it to some lucky someone.

Don't you love donated blocks? It makes each one special and gives great variety to the quilt colors and style. It always gives me the "friends are forever" feeling when I look at the finished quilt. Nice job!

QuiltnNan, I've been unsuccessful in "hunting" for the request for blocks to be donated for the Jacobs Ladder Charity quilt. Would you please share the sizes for the blocks? I want to make small kits members can take home or use at a workshop. Some of our members are so busy that they don't want to start from ground zero selecting the fabric and doing the cutting. I thought a quick construction kit would spark some interest in contributing a block or two. If this is a hit, perhaps some other members will be inspired :-) Thank you!

my blocks were donated to me through our senior center in town. i did not get them through an organized donation project. the blocks in my quilt are 8 1/4" finished [they are all hand sewn and not the same sizes or square, so i had to do a lot of trimming and squaring]. this link shows the making of the block and a chart for various sizes https://www.generations-quilt-patter...der-quilt.html

I often take pictures of my blocks before I sew to see if I like the placement.

QuiltnNan, thank you for sharing more information about the Jacobs Ladder quilt top. I will do some figuring this weekend and then hit the stash next weekend to make up some kits. I love the colors and placement pattern you use.

Piecefully yours,
Kay
