I received a wonderful quilt from Amma. It represents Washington. Thank you so much, Amma! You used techniques I haven't been brave enough to try. Perhaps, by looking at yours, I can learn and try them out.
She also sent a description of all the items in the quilt, from the mountains to the coastline, and how much they all mean to her. I wish I could share that with all of you, because you can tell from what she says, that Amma loves her state - all of it!
Thank you for the beautiful quilt! It will have a special place on my wall.

Here is the beautiful quilt that Lacelady sent me from beautiful Ireland! I think she did a fabulous job with representing her country and her work is amazing!! She also sent me some beautiful celtic fabric that I'll post too!
Hope you enjoy looking at this as much as me! Thanks again Lesley!

Wow what spectacular quilts! Amma I love the way you used the circles to present the views! I've seen that sort of applique done but never tried it. Well done!
Lacelady the quilting you did on that Irish quilt leaves me speechless. Wow!
