This is the quilt I got from mcdaniel023. She also sent along some fun goodies, a very nice shopping bag, some popping corn as she lives where Oroville R. makes his pop corn and there were some really cute material with flowers and ears of corn. I just love the covered bridges on the quilt. It looks like she lives in a very picturesk part of the world. Thanks again,
    Barb

The Januiary swap was my first one. I admit I was worried she wouldn't like it. She did. Not only am I getting a quilt but already have a new friend.

Never worry about being a beginner or first-timer. We all enjoy and love each others work. You are probably comparing your worst experience with our finished 'best'. That is like comparing your dirty closet to your best friends sitting room. Please don't. We all appreciate and love each and every piece of work we receive. You are welcome to join in. If you want to 'get your feet wet' and need some experience, pm me and I'll swap with you. We are each learning and growing. I love watching each quilter develop new skills and enjoy doing fun things with fabric. Gwyn

I posted pics of my new quilt from Esqmommy on the other thread, but since this one is for pics, here is mine. She did me really proud, I had no idea what she would depict from California, but a tie dye, peace loving one was such a super surprise - I love it. (note the neat button at the bottom)

I also had a lovely box of locally made chocolates - my cup runneth over! Yummy, yummy!
