    Hey K3n
    I think the quilt is upside down
    Or the lady sewed the label upside down. That is a classical japanese badminton with wooden racket.

    Glad to hear that the quilt arrived safe and sound. Checkng for the post of the arrived quilt on this thread has got addicted as "mare stare" to me!

    Oh, and the 'fly' or 'bird' is the birdie or shuttlecock? Gotcha - wow, that's even cooler! BUT I do like Terri's wine by the river idea too - I guess it can be all different things when I look at it - kind of like a mood quilt! :D Here's the pic turned;

    A bottle of sake is a goo idea. Terri!
    Do you have a big bottle of sake? Do you like it hot or cold? I prefer beer though.

    It's been years since I've drank saki and it was cold.
    I have 2 bottles of Japanese Saki and 1 bottle of Korean Saki.
    One of the bottles looks like the one on the quilt!

    NO, K....not sending you the saki to match the little quilt!

    How cute is the wine quilt? LOL! I liked the wine version, but it's neat that it works two ways! All the Japan quilts have been adorable!
