Jennifer's Wedding Quilt
#68
I was able to email the gal who put this pattern together and posted it online. She has generously given me permission to teach the class. We've got a number of new quilters in my local guild here and numerous ladies who have expressed interest in a class that uses up their scraps and I just think this would be a great quilt for that. It's perfect for a confident beginner. Likely it'll be sometime in the fall before I teach it, since I have to make another one so that I can have an example to show. I got the impression my sister wasn't giving up her quilt. I'm very excited!

I thought I would update everyone on the quilt. It now sits on my DS and DBIL's bed, but with the backing facing up. In fact, they prefer the back fabric so much that my sister has asked me to send her the rest of the fabric so she can make matching pillows and curtains. I don't know whether to laugh or cry and all I can do is shake my head. Heck, seems I could've kept the quilt after all and they wouldn't have noticed. At least they love the back.

Tiffany, your quilt is gorgeous. I know how you feel.
My sister made a quilt for our cousin and half the time she puts the back up. At first it really upset her because of all the work she put into it. But at least it's only part of the time. My son thinks some of the purples are too violet (old lady he says) in the one I made him, so he put the back up which is a dark purple. I'm just happy he loves having the quilt.
