I chose blue because it is our favorite color, AND I have so many small pieces that I wanted to use up. I had a BAD habit of buying quarters all the time. No more. From now on, It's yards. I might not have so much variety, but I will have enough if I feel like starting a larger project. What color do you plan to use, or do you know yet?

DH is going to be over the moon when he see his quilt.
Like you I love blues & have that BAD habit of buying FQ's instead of buying metres of fabric. :wink:
I'll have to follow in your footsteps & start buying in metres :P .
I think your quilt would look great with a thin red border & then a wider blue border.
Ooh yes don't forget to post pics of the hand quilting. I've still not mastered machine yet alone hand I just SITD - I know I am a chicken :lol:
