Loving it!!! The first 10 or so quilts I made were log cabin, I actually learned to quilt using that pattern, Love it with a small red border then a larger blue one, IMHO. Gooooood job!!!!

I sure will show the quilting Chele. I am going to put the outlines of (what else) log cabins.

They are a lot of fun, mytwopals. But I still had to concentrate. Put a couple of strips in the wrong place and had to take them off again.

I chose blue because it is our favorite color, AND I have so many small pieces that I wanted to use up. I had a BAD habit of buying quarters all the time. No more. From now on, It's yards. I might not have so much variety, but I will have enough if I feel like starting a larger project. What color do you plan to use, or do you know yet?
WOW Anne

DH is going to be over the moon when he see his quilt.
Like you I love blues & have that BAD habit of buying FQ's instead of buying metres of fabric.
I'll have to follow in your footsteps & start buying in metres :P .

I think your quilt would look great with a thin red border & then a wider blue border.
Ooh yes don't forget to post pics of the hand quilting. I've still not mastered machine yet alone hand I just SITD - I know I am a chicken

Sweet quilt! Love the red chimney with the blue. Makes me think of winter... and a cosy fire!
