To me quilting is so much more then just a means of holding the 3 layers of a quilt together. It is ALL about the texture and enhancing the piecing. But then you know that about me as well as I know you feel the same way. The amount of possiblilites we have available to achieve that end is what can be so overwhelming, to choose just the right quilting design for a quilt. It takes a lot of thought sometimes. Sometimes we are lucky and it comes to us right away. I love the thoughtfulness you put into your quilting. You definitely acheived the perfect balance of texture and enhancement with this one. I can't imagine Joy not liking what you have done here.

HI FF,
Yes. I know. I feel the same way about quilting. Quilting is such a big part of my life...It is hard for me not to think about it constantly...and compliment each quilt the way it needs to be complimented, so it can say what it needs to say..pretty amazing when it all comes together . This is why I love my job. Thanks so much!

Absolutely STUNNING! Both the quilt and the quilting. And Joy had doubts about her quiltmaking?? Somehow I just knew this would turn out FABULOUS.
