This particular pattern I quilted once before (it was also entered in a show and received ribbons...YAY!) . However, I didn't quilt them the same. This one felt more earthy to me..so I added some leaves....I also feel like all the work that goes into this quilt deserves it's own authenticity. Joy went to a lot of work, time and energy and this deserves to have it's own feeling.

I love the pattern, colors, and your quilting is amazing!
So much like the other ..I followed the trails in the pattern..I think that is the best way to compliment this quilt. I think for myself personally I couldn't put an allover type of pattern on this quilt and be happy with it (just my personal preference).

I quilted a feathered wreath in the center...all the red/brown areas have a feather to fill the trail...the white areas have different leaves. Along with the earth tone type colors many of the fabrics had leaves....I thought this was appropriate.
In the end I love the finish on this one! I pray Joy does as well!

I quilted this freehand on my INNOVA. I used HObbs polydown batting.

    Thanks for looking!

Glorious both the peicing and the quilting. I am so envious, think I'll go hide my head in shame.

It's a beautifully pieced quilt and beautifully quilted. As usual when I saw 'Charisma' I said "Oh goody" and clicked right on it. I've had a question for some time now and it is this - How long, on average, does it take you to quilt one of these beauties? You seem to have so many of them to show us on the board.
