The tute already on here is called "7 large cans and 2 days" I think.
But if you can't find it, let me know.

Whoa, that brings back memories, my kid's adopted grandmother made them each one many years ago and they used them til they fell apart. Great job!

That one is so pretty!! Many years ago than I want to remember, I made some with my kids. Each one got to design one for his/her room and to be honest at this late date, one of them was just plain ugly!! But they were loved to death, even one of the cats claimed one for his own use, and used teeth and claws on humans who tried to use it for sitting.
Good re-use for large juice cans, it can be made with huge cans from commercial sized foods if you have a source for them.

I just spent a few hours looking for a footstool for my son, found a couple ,but even at oddlots they were 99 bucks. This is perfect for him! I can't wait to start saving up the cans and do this for him!

I love seeing blasts from the past. I too remember when these were all the rage. Everyone was making them. I remember my friends mother working in a school cafeteria and everyone wanted the large industrial size cans they used there. She was everyone's best friend for a while.
I would love to see them come back.
People need to reuse and recycle. These is a perfect project for that.

I think this footstool is adorable! I saw this made years ago on a television show, they called it a tuffit.
