I have made this one too. My 12 yr old niece loves it. I made her several of the ties so she can change them out for a different look. She uses the ties for hair bows and belts too. Love yours and the colors. Bobbi

The bag came out really cute. Nice, young style! I have the same pattern, but I haven't made it, yet. I've seen similar styles, ready made in the stores lately.

it has two small pockets in it, one in the front and one in the back (big enough for cell phone or small camera). they are stitched into the seam of the band and body, so they 'hang'. kind of different, but really easy!

you know, i wondered about that. different ties on a basic black and white one would be cute! this one i made the tie and the lining the same fabric, but she could still put a different tie. the ties are very easy to make!
