ABSOLUTELY STUNNING. I know, I'm shouting but it is gorgeous. You have great border suggestions. I would start auditioning. Have fun. 2-s.

I agree, it is an amazing quilt. Is there really 9941 pieces sewn together?

Thank you all for the compliments. The pieces break down as follows:

There are 111 shoofly blocks
There are 110 double 9 patch blocks

For each shoofly, there are 41 pieces
For each double 9 patch there are 49 pieces

So for the shooflies, there are 4551 pieces
and for the double 9 patch there are 5390 pieces

So at this point, my quilt has 9,941 pieces!!!

OMG! Amazing quilt. I do think that a simple solid colored border or borders would be the best so they don't take anything away from this amazing quilt.

Fabulous to see this again! You've done a spectacular job on this!! Are you maybe thinking about possibly hitting the 10,000 pieces mark with some piecing in the borders-?

What a stunner. Color choices are pure perfection. Give yourself a huge pat on the back.
