Donna in Mo--I used a very lightweight flannel in the middle-It helps give stability to the curtain and FMQ on my sewing machine.

Used flannel as a batting and meander machine quilted in large setting squares and triangles as well as yellow 9 patch squares. Rest of motif in bath is my Dutch Delft accessories.

Of course! On the first page are directions--sort of. It's a 9 inch 9P so strips were 3.5" cuts for quick piecing. There are 30 9P blocks set on point alternated with 9" squares. First border is 1.75" cut/ second border 2.75" cut. Lightwt flannel (really cheap Walmart type) in the middle with a standard cotton backing.
Good luck and share with us when you get it done!
