Default Just a bit of stash..a mini to say thanks

One of my guild friends moved into a retirement home. To downsize her extensive stash, notions, and totes, she invited all her quilt friends in for a take home party. What an easy way for her to downsize! As a little thank you I make this quilt for her new home. I started with a rectangle based on Fibonacci's sequence as she was a math teacher. Then added the 5/8" cut strips in courthouse square fashion. Not only did I put triangles on the back for a hanger, but I sewed on a magnetic strip so it can be hung on a steel door or other metal object. She loved it.

How generous of her and lucky for all of you. I am sure that she will appreciate your thanks. Love how it looks like an optical illusion. Good work. BrendaK
