Default just finished borders

I have been struggling over what borders to put on this quilt....which is Square in a Square from a video from Missouri Star...and this is what I ended up with. I both love and hate the "auditioning" borders step of quilting. I hate the putting back in my stash of all the fabrics that lost the audition....but I do like playing with the different ideas.

But this is what I ended up with. I was severely influenced by what was in my stash, and I wanted to stick to my stash...but I am pleased with the results. I really wanted to use some of the purples, but it turned out I didn't have enough left of any of those fabrics.

Thanks for the advice from those of you who offered help in the last few days. I always appreciate help, and I can use all the help I can get.

Dina

Your lovely quilt came together beautifully. I don't think you could have made a better choice for the border fabric you used. I love the pattern and did watch Jenny's video. I would like to do one and only hope I make the great choices in fabrics that you did. Love it!

I love both colors, but think you chose the right one for the border. Beautiful quilt!
