I love this quilt! I am also involved with Wrap A Smile here in Maine. My best friend Terry started this wonderfult project several years ago. Every first Monday of the month we sew on the lables for quilts that have come in from all over the country. I'll be on the lookout for yours!

That is so cool. My husband was born and raised in Patten Me.
Tell me about the labels.

I keep coming back to take another look at your quilt. You are ALL right, this is a DARLING quilt. Thank you for making it for the Rotary Club. You have made the suggestion to contact a Rotarian to see if they have a similar project locally and I'm going to take your suggestion. Our group has been making quilts for foster children for years...maybe we could make a few quilts for the Rotary Club.

Some have mentioned how their grandchildren fall in love with a quilt they've made. I wonder sometime if it's the quilt they love or the person who made it with SO MUCH LOVE. Our nephews (ages 10 & 12) have quilts of their own that I've made for them but whenever they want to cuddle up at our house they look for my DH's and mine...for some reason they like ours the best for cuddling, even when their own quilt is right next to them. It certainly makes me feel good.
