Katie finally finished her quilt top. she has now designed a quilt of her own and we bought the fabric today so we shall see what she turns out next. I will be quilting this one for her myself on my friends long arm and she will help. the cell phone pic does not do it justice we will post better pics once it is quilted.

That's a fun looking quilt. I like the pink, brown and green colors (I'm doing a braid in those colors). What backing will you use??

The binding will either be the stripe or the polka dots and the back is the chocolate brown polka dot print.

How perfect is that!!! Katie has become an amazing quilter for such a tender age. What's the quilting plan?

Hey--are you two coming to visit me this summer? :D

we are going to quilt it with a meander stipple. Her next project is her own design she is calling it jazzy diamonds. May be awhile but, I will keep you posted. yes Barnbum we will be coming to visit and will bring it with us so you can see it in person. She is going to go to my sisters in NJ and work in a horse barn for a week.

Hubby is okay same ol story though........

I say it's modern-retro. How's that for an oxymoron??

The fabric is just adorable and the colors, perfect. What an eye. Tell her to hurry so we can see more already.

Thanks everybody! Its a pretty big quilt for something I made. Almost taller than me! :) The brown polka dots are my favorite! :)

I designed a quilt and i am already have the fabric. Now I just have to figure out how to cut it and sew it! :) YAY! I also have another quilt that will be done soon.
