Oh, your quilt is just lovely! I love the 'Pottery Barn' look -- you've inspired me to do something along these lines in a nice sage green for our bed --- love the simplicity of it!

This turned out Beautiful. You did such a great job finding fabrics that are almost the same that you really have to look to see that they aren't . I hope the couple loved it.

I don't see anything primitiave about your quilt; any young contemporary couple would love it. You did a wonderful job. Can anyone offer an explanation of what "scrimpped batting" is and reasons to use it or not for those of us who have never heard of it?

As I understand it, scrimmed batting is needle punched into a fine netting to stabilize the cotton. MK
