One of the best "quilts for a teacher" I have seen.

What a great quilt! This teacher will really know how much you appreciate her.
People will see your quilts long after you're gone - NOT your housework!

A lovely gesture! I am the equivalent of your Vice Principals (I think!) and I always tell parents the same thing - less experience does not mean they will not be as good a teacher as very experienced ones. In many cases it can be the opposite. Newly qualified teachers have energy, enthusiasm and are determined to succeed. They are also very well supported and monitored by experienced members of the team!

As a retired educator whose career spanned 38 years let me be among those who stated how much your daughters teacher will enjoy this gift. You have truly made this a labor of 💗.

Ditto. I couldn't have said this better. You both did a wonderful job. Are you sure Emmaline is old enough to be in school? Seems like she was just a baby not long ago. BrendaK

We met her today and gave her the quilt. She loved it and thanked us over and over. She was so excited to see Emmaline and Emmaline was excited to see her too. It was so sweet watching the two of them. Sometimes it was like we (the parents) weren't even there. We told her that we hoped she used the quilt, but that we had never used fabric paint before so we advised her to wash in cold water on gentle no more often than absolutely necessary. She said she couldn't wait to get it home and start snuggling under it. We told her if she had a rough day at school that she could always go home and get a hug from her first (and favorite!) seventeen students.
