    I looked up the kindle size and made it a tad bigger so it would slide in easily. The size I found is 7.5 by 4.8. I think I added a little over an inch, 3/8" seam allowance.
    I am going to try putting the zipper at the top instead of the side.

    Well i got a good start on it today, finally...I was a little lost on where to start, but once i get rolling it just all seems to come...so it should be in a couple of weeks or so

    I sell almost everything I make so I can continue making stuff. I did give one as a gift today though.

    You're right! but traveling with the Kindle in my pocketbook with no cover was NOT good.....The Kindle just kept turning on as the buttons got pushed in my bag and the glass was getting scratched! If you ever DO decide to sell them and have put the zipper on the top....PM me please and I'd love to buy one of your beauties!!!
