Default King Size Flying Geese

I am making this king duvet for DDIL for Xmas. I had to change a queen pattern to 109 x 109. The FG are 5 X 10 and will be the final border. Could not have done it without the Wing clipper by Deb Tucker. Amazing tool for trimming. I made 68 geese. I used the tutorial for making 4 at a time - really nice - add 1 1/4" to the base and 7/8" to the height. Now to get them sewn together and on to the top. Just hoping the math is right and that these flying geese line up and none loose their beaks!

Not sure if I will quilt anything on the top before I attach to the back.

The collection is Joel Dewberry - Avairy 2 - love his work.

Thanks for looking.

Great to hear you like that tool. Too funny! Last week I added it to my Christmas wish list.

I use a lot of Deb's tool all the time. She really has figured out the short cuts. Great item for Xmas list. Hope Santa is good to you...lol.

I've been collecting gold, black and gray fabrics for a "future" project. Hope it turns out as nice as yours. This is looking great!

Hope so too. I actually like to put together a list of quilting wants, then give it to my son and send him to the local quilt shop near him. (He lives 5 hours away from us.) It helps out the local independent shops and it's always fun to challenge him and see what he brings back. Sometimes I tell him to just pick out a book or something he likes.
