Beautiful bargello, makes me want to make one and hope it would be as lovely as yours. If you're hand quilting then batiks can make it more difficult (and hand quilting through all those seams would be a nightmare), but I see no reason why it would make a difference on a DSM or longarm. Any holes from quilting close up when the quilt is washed, or even if it is spritzed.

That is gorgeous. I love the colors. How in the heck did you get it to stay up on your design wall (unless you pinned it to within an inch of it's life). I've made many quilts with 2 inch and even 1 inch and 1/2 inch even quilt blocks throughout and I know that it make a very, very heavy quilt!!!

Hi:

All I can say is your quilt is BEAUTIFUL and to do a king size is something else. You did a very good job and need
a pat on the back. So here goes pat pat.
Keep up the good work.

It is gorgeous! Think I would stick with a batik or blender for the back.

Wow! Your quilt is just amazing, from the colors to the awesome waves you created. If it were mine, I would probably use a plain light colored back so you can see the waves on the back too after it's quilted (assuming you're quilting waves!)
