    not a quilt but it is quilted. a valance for my kitchen window and a table runner to match. i took the 40 year old blinds down and threw them in the trash, i was tired of looking at them and tired of cleaning them. sometimes all the "stuff" in my house over whelms me, i had the inside painted so made some changes - u know, kinda scaled down things a bit, a bit more simple and i like it.

    Looks great! Are the cardinals embroidered or appliqued?

    thank you. the cardinals are machine embroidered. i don't know how to applique - wish someone would teach me!

    Hi Dojo, You were saying you wished you knew how to applique.

    Try the Home Page above and click on Tutorials. I posted how to do machine or hand applique.

    i read it thru several times, not sure if i completely understand it or not but i'll try it sometime, i bookmarked it for further reference. thanks a bunch, when i do try it i'll, i'll post pic of it.
