I sewed together the top today and tonight. I did okay I guess. I lost a couple of points in the process and a couple blocks didn't quite line up but, oh well. I will get better as i go.

anyways I still have to put the two borders on which the first will be black and the second will be Kitty's and then the binding will be black. Will be awhile though before I get that far. we go to Buffalo tomorrow.

    Here's a couple pictures:

That would be cool but, have never quilted anything before so who knows at this point how it will end up quilted.

LOL I will see what I can figure out. I am nervous about the borders and sandwiching and quilting. Eek

Looks great! Did you notice how the center black block sort of looks like a cat's head?

I love the colors & material. What are you planning on using it for? Is it going to be used as a lap quilt? Nice work!

I love it, you have done a wonderful job. Love the cat head in the middle block, bet you planned that from the start.

That is cute! I can't wait to see it done. :D
When I was hand quilting--I sewed around objects--like birds--and it was easy enough. If you found a cat online somewhere--just a simple solid body--then got it the right size--pin it onto the squares and just make tiny stitches around it--you'll be good to go!! You could use an orange thread--sooo cute!!

If you put eyes, nose, mouth and whiskers on that black block in the middle I think you will have a cat's head! :-)
