Very cute. If I changed the colors to white and gray it could be my Rhumba.

Thanks everyone. It was a lot of fun to do. I have quite a few new shimmery fabrics and wanted to use some of them so chose my pattern with that in mind.

Do I Spy some shimmery sorts of fabrics there?
You really caught the expression of a totally innocent feline ... as he chomps away on those feathers! Collar and bell are purrrrrfect additions to the scene!

RIP Tweety Bird!

How disappointing though
... With your comment, I was expecting a pic of the two IRL felines, giving their approvals!
It IS nice to have a year-end finish. And because it was fun is one reason why it finished so quickly. Yes, all the fabrics have some sort of shimmer to them. I even used metallic silver thread for the whiskers and the swirl quilting.

Something about the cat made me think he needed to be caught in the act of being a "bad" kitty. And anyone with cats knows that a bell doesn't mean a kitty won't still catch a bird. They learn how to move without activating the bell. It's amazing.

No real kitty pics. One is camera shy and the other rubs against it, and tried to eat the feathers.

And that is the last quilt finish for 2014.
