Default La Passacoglia

Cog Quilts, the whole web is doing the Pass and Cog quilt. I decided to join them lol. I bought the book and the plastic templates but I am not into English PP, even tho it is wonderful, I am a machine person all the way. The templates and the pattern are way too small for me but I guess because it all done by hand and you can carry it around. I wish I had been more patient and waited for the book before ordering the plastic templates, because now I won't use them.

I scanned the templates from the book and enlarge them 100% and that made them double in size. I glued them to plastic tem sheet and added the 1/4 ins seams and that is working just fine. Here is a pic of the first Rosette minus the stars. Those take time to make and I will keep posting as I go along.

I like how you enlarged the pieces. I am not a hand sewer and would find the small sections very tedious. Now that they are larger, are you sewing them on the machine?
