This is a labor of love. It is not perfect but it's OK with me. We got our dog at the humane society in 2000 and we love her dearly. My husband said he would never have a lab...never say never.

We had a lab for 14 1/2 years and loved her. A very gently dog around us, not too fond of strangers.

Your quilt is lovely. I like the colors you chose.

Your quilt is lovely. We had a black lab for 16 years and she was the most loving of animals. Thank you for sharing.

Love the quilt, and the labs are wonderful - my dd had one for several years, and he was very gentle with everyone. :)

Yes, that's my hubby and our dog, Molly. There is such a story behind getting her! I was going to say that the quilt was a learning experience. It was the first time I have transferred a picture onto fabric and it was also the first time I've ever appliqued. I was trying to get a close up of the lab applique as I think it turned out very nice, I used gold metalic thread around the grass area.

Is it wonderful. Love the setting and the colors.

I was watching a quilting video on you tube. They had a song "Done is best" There was something about if it was perfect, then you could never attain that again. No one has a perfect quilt but since we look at them as a whole, done is best
