My labor of Love

One of my coworkers lost her husband last year on November 30, 2009 and this year for Christmas, she asked me what she could do with his old shirts. I told her to bring them to me and some pictures of him with their kids and grandchildren. I made her son, daughter and hers Mother-in-law a lap quilt. I hope the pics come through so you can see them. They are kind of like crazy quilts-no rhyme or reason, but they meant a lot to these kids and his Mom. It was hard for me to do this as I grew up around the corner from him and went to school with him- this was more a labor of love for me as he was my friend too. I am also working on one for my coworker, but she does not know this-it will be a big surprise for her. I will send another pic when I get it finished.
