    Wendys Quilts: It ISN'T a difficult pattern at all and it goes together in a timely manner. It's mostly 5 1/2 inch squares. If you follow the direction of MARKING your HST combinations, it goes together easily. Note that the queen 90x110 pattern does not have that light (background) frame on the sides; and to me, it made the design look incomplete, so I purchased an extra 1 1/2 yds of the Background fabric and added the two-5 1/2" strips (with the HST points of the diamond) to each side, making it square and then eliminated the 10" outer border, making the quilt 90x90. I recommend you go ahead. You will see how simple it is.
