For the lady I met at the Dollar Store in Battle Creek, MI

It was nice meeting you at the Dollar Store and hearing about how much you loved the Quilt Board. I am going to post a picture of a quilt I made some time ago. MrsMail

For the lady at the Dollar Store in Battle Creek, MI

This is a quilt I made a long time ago for my son, who is in the Fire Dept. in his MD town. It has all the firemen's names embroidered on it and when they became members. MrsMail

That is beautiful. A member of my family is on the volunteer fire dept in the small town where they live. Your son must be very proud to show this off to everyone.

What a wonderful quilt. What a way to honor your son. I lived in Battle Creek during WWII right near the Sanitarium and across from Percy Jones Hospital, that is no longer there.

We had a gathering of those in our area at a quilt shop up the hill, then we went to lunch. Lots of fun.

So good to hear that name Battle Creek, MI. We moved to southeast Georgia 7 years ago from Battle Creek,mi. I took up quilting and belong to a fun and laid back, southern crafters group. We do everything from crafts to quilting. I have taking up quilting and found there is so much to learn. Good to see people meeting other gifted people.

You did a great job, it is wonderful. I hope you have taken it to the firehouse for all the firemen to see! Putting the names on is really special.
