    Lady Maddona in Red

    Made this for my DSD for Christmas. Hope she likes it. Ready to put the binding on...Red or Black binding? What do you think?

    I vote you send it my way! I love it. I think black would really frame it out and make it look like a picture in a frame. (just my opinion) You did a great job! beautifully done.

    Very nice. I love it and hope she does too! I vote for red binding.

    BTW - I was also not sure what to expect with the thread title but I couldn't resist checking it out. Glad I did.

    The red is just raw edge applique. I thought of doing Trapunto and may on my next one. I would especially like to do some trapunto "ghost" scrolls in the quilting. This quilt took me a day to put the top together and a day to quilt it. Very quick and easy!
