I start off with a scenery pic and go from there, changing it as I go to suit my vision. Most are fused and appliqued, some are foundation pieced and then fused/appliqued, some are just fabric cut and placed on background and then appliqued. Here is one my good quilting friend and mentor Janice made, she is my inspiration, such a talented lady. (I have actually bought this one from Janice as an early birthday pressie for myself)
