    Lap quilt for a senior

I made this quilt for a lady named Mary who is now 95 years old. Mary was a wonderful roommate to our dear Aunt Rose who passed away earlier this year. I put Mary's full name on the label on the back as she is still at the care center and things disappear out of rooms at times. Mary loves to knit and makes scarves for the homeless!

Such a nice gesture! It's beautiful. I LOVE the floral fabric you used and the colors are gorgeous. Nice job!
Being skinny isn't easy, so I gave up and opted for being sexy instead. (aunty acid)

Lovely quilt for a lovely lady who obviously shares her talents too. I like how you personalized it with her name and a skein of yarn and a scarf. Too cute. She will cherish it.

Pretty quilt. I put my grandchildren full name on their quilts and afghans. One of my granddaughters had her quilt stolen when she was in headstart. I also put a label inside with the batting and mark a corner where it can be taken apart to verify the owner. Lucky we got it back.

It's CHARMING! I'm glad you added her name to the front and back because things DO tend to disappear in nursing homes.

In those homes.... nothing stays put for long. Hopefully this will come back to her. It's really pretty & cheery. I'm sure it will tempt everyone that lays eyes on it. You did a beautiful job. Thanks for sharing.
