I just printed this pattern out yesterday, you've inspired me (plus I have lots of 2" squares)!

Actually my shoulders have started bothering me when I spend too much time at the computer, but the sewing machine doesn't bother me that much. Probably because I keep getting up and down to go to the ironing board. Plus, I only do what I'm in the mood for at the moment. IOW, I do things in groups--but I will often sew for 1-2 hours (if I can) at a time, but sometimes it is only 20 minutes until an English student comes over when I will have to go downstairs.

Plus, my machine sews pretty quickly now (Janome Horizon7700)...so I can sew faster than I used to be able to. ;0 That helps.

But my motivation is to try to get to the floor of my sewing room. I've been doing so many scrappy tops--all since last year, trying to work my scraps down. And I have managed to get them down so it isn't so scary.

I also wanted to add that I'm not usually using 2" squares--I'm using 2" strips and sewing two strips together and then trimming them into 2" segments. I throw them all into a box and pull them out and sew them randomly together for a 2x2 square. Working with 2" squares would take longer and I'm not in the mood for slow...not right now.

Not only does it look great in yellow and red, it also looks great in blue!
