Your new niece is a very lucky girl to be getting such a wonderful welcome to the family, I bet she is thrilled with her new quilt!

I think you just wrapped that little girl around your finger when she see's it. What a special way to welcome a new friend.

Skratchie, the bargello will not overload your skill level. They are actually very easy to do, but you have to pay really close attention and keep your strips in perfect order. Using text and email, I am teaching my friend who is an accomplished quilter, to make a bargello.

Perfect colors and pattern for these fabrics. Straight sewing the squares is something I can do. Your color combo is sparkling.
