Default God bless our service men and women!

My son used to be quite puzzled when people would tell him thanks, since he wasn't around during Viet Nam, his reply is always, "Thank You, but it's my job!" I truly believe that very few of our soldiers are coming home without some form of post traumatic stress. Ed is a Ssgt and has taken it very personal when any of 'his' men have been either injured or killed. I noticed when Ed was home last, he was either snuggled in one of my quilts or afghans. Maybe, some kind of blanket to let them know our arms are always around them? Done with the soapbox--again, what a beautiful quilt!
My son is currently on his 4th deployment. It is hard on the families involved. God bless them all!

Your quilt is just beautiful. My sincere appreciation for his service, and I hope he recuperates from his injury soon.

Good job. You made excellent use of that panel. Hopefully, your fine quilt will help in the long healing process.
