They are both beautiful. I'd have a hard time choosing a favorite. I'm playing with moderns now, so maybe the second one, but love the bright colors of the first one. Kinda glad I don't have to choose...lol

Ooooh... both of these are real beauties! The baby quilt is so bright & cheerful -- perfect for a little one! And the yellow & blue one? Well, too bad it's already spoken for because it would go perfectly in my guest room... LOL! It's beautiful & you're so sweet to make it for your friend. I know both of these will be loved & treasured for years to come.

"Both lovely, but I do have a favorite - the scrumptious blue and yellow!" I agree!! I'm going to make a yellow and blue quilt one of these days. Been here 2 years or more and still haven't gotten started really. This just might give me the incentive I need.

Would you mind sharing or telling me what pattern the blue and yellow one is?

I like them both. I'd like my piecing to be as accurate as yours.

They are both beautiful! The yellow and blue suit my decor and so I gravitate to that one. Fabulous work.
