I made this quilt top last Spring, but only finished it a few days ago. It is a lap quilt. Trevor slept under it the last two evenings when he took a nap on the couch.

thanks! I really enjoyed making it. It took me a year to hand quilt it. Every now and then I like to take a quilt and hand quilt it instead of machine. Probably by the end of the summer I might get another one ready for hand quilting. I plan to layer a quilt tonight for machine quilting.

    Cheers

Gorgeous! Nice work on the quilting, too. I also enjoy that process. This looks pretty big for a lap quilt!

Very Pretty!! That looks like it would fit a queen size bed at least. Great Job!! All that hand quilting ...wish my hands would allow me to do that...but I'm sure they would protest.

That is a lovely quilt, the colours are great.
I have never had a go at machine quilting so although I can get the quilt tops done quickly they tend to lurk about for quite a while much to my cats pleasure

    Thanks Nellie

Yes I hand quilted it myself. No machine quilting in this baby :)

looks are deceiving, it might look like a queen but its just the way I draped it over the couch. Its a big lap quilt though, but means more comfy and lots of quilt to curl up with my sweetie:)

I love it, love it, love it. The colors are fantastic. It sure looks a lot bigger than a lap quilt. Really, it's beautiful and so is the quilting.
