    Latest scrappy quilt

Haven't posted any pictures for a while. I finished this one in early March. No pattern, just a few orphan blocks and using up some of my fabric. Queen size and quilt as you go technique.

    Thanks for looking.

Here's the back in case you want to see that. I changed my mind about going scrappy on the back too, so that is why you see the odd block in the center.

    wonderful use of orphan blocks
put off till tomorrow what you can do today, and if you procrastinate long enough, you may never have to do it.

I was definitely winging it...still took a while, sewing all those pieces together. I always expect them to go faster.

But I don't lose any sleep worrying about someone copying my "pattern"". lol

What a great quilt.....I am in awe of those of you that can pull orphan blocks and make a beautiful quilt. My orphans never play well together hell they didn't play well with their bothers and sisters either that's what made them orphans to begin with hahaha.

That's great how you got all those different 'orphans' to play together so nicely. Doing a scrappy quilt is such a challenge! It can be a jumble or it can be full of lovely little treats when you look closely. Nice job!

A fun scrappy!! A few orphans, and misc. pieces usually make a great quilt. Great job!
