    Cool quilt! I especially love your Day of the Dead fabric :) Its an awesome quilt and I'll bet once you finish it you will LOVE it!!

    i love the idea of adding 3 borders to bring out the blues. i wanted it to be more blue. i also know what was bothering me about it. there are some very similar squares that are touching each other because i put them together randomly into rows so it worked out that way no matter how i turned the rows when i was assembling them.
    thanks for all the great comments! i won't be giving it away. there are some peices of fabric on it that mean alot to me, like the happy face one. it was my bff's bandana that her dad had back in the 60's. also peices with my moms favorite flower and the skull fabric that closely resemble a tattoo of mine.. i think i will like it better when i add the borders. (:
