What a gorgeous quilt! Glad you decided to get brave and move out of your comfort zone--it's a hugh success. As to the name, the colors remind me of a sunset in the desert (kind of). I know that's not much help, but there it is!

Did you start out in the middle doing your FMQ? Is that a design you made up? Did you draw the design on paper first? I am wanting to try something like your FMQ.

Aren't you glad you made that sacrifice and headed out to the LQS? Your quilt is Gorgeous. I love the colors, especially the borders. Your FMQ looks great, too. Seeing your results makes me brave enough to FMQ myself.
