    Lemonade Anyone??

They always say if life gives you lemons, make lemonade.

A couple of years ago I purchased some small African batik panels and didn't know what I was going to make out of them. They've been in my "Hmmmmm" pile ever since.

A couple of weeks ago I was at my guild meeting and a bunch of scraps (cornerstones and sashing maybe?) on the freebie table caught my eye. I quickly gathered up someone else's "lemons" and here's the lemonade bag I made.

    Perfect color combo!
A fabric stash is always missing that one fabric needed to finish the quilt on which you're working.

I'd say that is lemonade supreme! You matched up the panels with someone else's cast offs perfectly. The result is beautiful.

Great bag, love those fabrics. You have given me inspiration on how to incorporate some of my African prints.

Thanks. I like African prints and I've made a couple of quilts using them. They just seem to vibrate with color - at least to me.
