How about trying a zigzag stitch in the ditch? You could make it look like that is how you planned it.

Two things make a quilt. Cutting it out right, and making sure you sew it with your 1/4".

you can also use it across the foot of the bed like a runner. just for decoration. great quilt though!!

By the picture it looks like she has a quilt. She may have made some mistakes but its still a quilt and a very pretty one at that. If it's not a quilt; then what is it.

It's gorgeous, I have the pattern to make these blocks but not the skill, so I hope you don't give up. There's nothing wrong with making a wall hanging for yourself :)

If you can analyze a mistake and then avoid repetition then you will be successful. Unless we had a mentor sitting by our side when beginning to quilt, we all made beginner's errors.
