Very nice skirt. I'm sure you'll show us pics of it under your tree? :-)

My DH was passing by the computer when I was looking at your photo and he said, "Wow! That's really pretty!" I had to laugh because he is also colorblind. More than just red/green, he has trouble distinguising any colors, but he could see this clearly. Maybe I need to think about a blue tree skirt here as well! Love your pattern. Great job.

That's what this one is - my newbie skirt! My first HST even if they are extra large.
But the fabric is so gorgeous, I'm letting it carry the day. :-)
WOW way to go for a first HST project!!

That is beautiful. I love the color. Blue is my favorite. That fabric is going to pick up the lights in your tree and just sparkle.

That is really pretty----but what I am most impressed with is that you have no UFOs hanging around your house!!!

Would you like to come visit me and help me with a few of mine????

It is beautiful! We too used alot of blue and white when I was growing up because both my dad and grandpa were red/green color blind.

Does anyone know where the traditional red and green color scheme came from?

I think the reason is this:

Red - Christ's blood shed for our sin on the cross.
Green - Eternal life in Christ. (as an evergreen tree still looks alive even in winter)
