    Thank you one and all for the positive words and encouragement!

    Ruth, I am still using the freezer paper applique method with a little needle turning added for good measure. The ants body was appliqued and the antenae and legs are emboirdered.

    Sandra, the picnic's all in our head! But I'm not nutz! Not yet!!! But I am very, very happy! :lol: :mrgreen: :mrgreen: :lol: Can one get high on fabric? :D :D

    And finally, ladies and Tim, do retire as early as you can! I hit 55 and that was it! I've never regretted it for a moment. I loved my job but I love my retirement better. AND I do quilt what I want, when I want for as long as I want. It is wonderful! :D
