I agree...with sewbizgirl. I have a child who is Deaf and would not have minded at all if someone made him a special quilt keeping his needs in mind. This quilt is a beautiful quilt with lots of color and texture...just what the baby needs. We make Project Linus quilts without a single thought for babies born with special needs. I will speak to my coordinator about this. Altho' I am not optimistic as these babies/children so often get overlooked.

The quilt is absolutely beautiful! You did a great job and so personal. It is a treasure and I am jealous of your ability to put such diverse fabrics together into such a beautiful quilt.
