when making a baby quilt you can arrange the logs to make a star, done lots of those.

This was a great thread. Seeing these possibilities one after another showed how layout of the exact same squares could be so varied. Love your colors but I was surprised to find there was one layout I really didn't like (not the one you ultimately chose). And one I don't think I've seen before that made me say "Wow". Thanks for posting!
