    Default Little of this & that

    This quilt comes from CO. the clients says that she made the center panel many years ago. The panel had been batting/backed and lightly SITD to hold it together. Flash forward, she added the stars & borders, attached batting for the new piecing, made whole piece back and sent it to me. She allowed me to layout a quilting design so this is what I saw. Hope you enjoy the pictures and they give you some ideas

    A "few" years ago?? Good grief, wish I could show you my flying geese in rows almost identical to this one and it was made in the mid-eighties, more than a 'few' years ago, for sure! I, too, have taken mine apart because, in those days, I pulled the backing to the front for binding, something I'd never do now. Might have to get to work on that thing and send it to you for the glorious quilting!!
