That *is* pretty!

It's done using partial seams.

Well, I have to master posting digital photos first. Just got my camera today! (20yo dd has hogged the family camera for years. Finally bought my own and am going to keep it hidden when not in use so she doesn't know we have another camera.....)

It could be a variation of the log cabin quilt, I have a book that has lots of variations.
It is a pretty block, whatever it is.

I think it's a variation of a rail fence, just has a square in the middle instead.

oh I'm hoping Prism99 will post a tutorial or somebody will find a pattern. I need step by step - I can't wing anything yet.
