So very beautiful! Tell your SIL we send our heartfelt thanks for the service for our country's citizens and for Jim Gem's daughter too that they have provided and JlJack's son, Steven, we will remember in prayer. Also, thanks to Bill'sBonBon for her son serving 3 yrs!! To all others on the board whose family members are serving in Iraq or Afghanistan, we thank and pray for them daily. Your daughter and SIL will really appreciate your heartfelt love in that quilt!

It's quilts like this that make me loooove the log cabin block. Your quilt is absolutely perfect and beautiful. I think I can safely say it's one of those "quilter's quilts" - we all know and get just how terrific it really is. I know your family will love it.

I'd never heard the notion of sleeping under your quilt before giving it away. What a neat idea...maybe I'll try it sometime!

Glad your SIL is safe and home. Give him and your daughter my profound thanks for his service to our country. I hate war, fighting and everything it stands for, but I am so grateful for all our military and the safety we enjoy because of their sacrifice. I hope that makes sense...

I hope you have a terrific holiday season!

The quilt is gorgeous. Thank your SIL for his service. I am an army brat and my husband is a Vietnam Vet. In fact I was working on base at Fort Hood when we met in 1983.
