That is absolutely beautiful. I'm so glad he is coming home. What a great Christmas present. Great job.

Beautiful Quilt!1 I also am sending my heartfelt thanks to your SIL and his family. I have a son in Iraq, his second tour there and one servered in Afganistan. My oldest son will be home Friday from basic training, he entered later than most, he is in his early thirties. I have offered to make him a red, white and blue one, after seeing you quilt I think I may make a log cabin.
Again thank you to your family and your SIL's family.

you all are amazing. thank you all for your complements, and especially for the support of our troops. so many of us have family serving right now. so many coming home injured in so many ways. i pray that this war will be over soon. i am conflicted in that i am so in love with our military people, but hate this war and want it over so bad i can taste it. i just pray for all our leaders and know that i would not want to have to make the decision. there is no good solution. (don't get me started.)
